Introducing Our New Masonite Material

At Australian Door Cards, we have always been committed to supplying high quality Masonite door cards manufactured to the correct thickness and specifications, just as they were originally supplied from the factory. To achieve this, we have historically imported our Masonite from Europe and precision cut it in house.

Recently, our long-term supplier was acquired, requiring us to source an alternative Masonite material. After extensive evaluation, we have secured a new premium quality Masonite from Europe, that meets Australian standards and, like our previous material, contains no harmful glues or chemical additives.

The main difference customers will notice is the colour. Our new Masonite has a darker appearance than the material we have used in the past. This is due to a change in the raw timber used during manufacturing, with eucalyptus hardwood replacing pine, resulting in a richer, darker finish.

Apart from this visual change, our door cards remain the same. They continue to be manufactured using our precise templates, production methods, equipment and quality standards in the same workshop located in rural North East Victoria. Fitment, thickness, strength, and overall quality remain exactly as customers have come to expect from Australian Door Cards.
